Swing era music at the Dahmen Barn March 27

After a winter respite, the Hog Heaven Big Band returns to the Dahmen Barn on Saturday, March 27 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The band has been playing at the Barn since its grand opening October 2006 to the delight of listeners and dancers, and will play every fourth Saturday of the month through November 2010. The cost at the door is $8 for a couple, $5 for a single and children under 12 are free. Complimentary dance lessons may be enjoyed by dropping in at 6 pm; those students pay the admission fee to the dance.

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is in Uniontown on highway 195 in the big white barn behind the famous iron wheel fence. The fully handicap accessible art center has no daily admission fee and is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Information: www.artisanbarn.org or 509-229-3414.
